Sue always struggled with her weight – but after seeing an unflattering picture of herself, she said enough was enough
“Before my weight loss, I loved bread,” Sue told RSVP.
“I would eat bread when I was making the kids’ lunches, or I’d snack on things and forget I’d eaten them.
“I’d go to a garage, stop off and think nothing of getting a chicken fillet roll, same thing with the takeaways. Now instead of a takeaway at the weekend I would make a ‘fakeaway’ at home.
“For breakfast now I’d have a bowl of fruit, poached eggs or two Weetabix. In the afternoon I would have a chicken salad. Even if I’m on the road, I’d still go to Subway but instead of having a roll I would get a salad there instead.
“I make everything from scratch for dinner, but still enjoying all the food I love. When I was on diets before I would have to make separate dinners for myself and the kids, now I can make the same healthy meals for all of us.”
