The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly the head chef of the family, preparing fresh meals for William and the kids every day.

In 2016, Kate said at an event: “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.

It was later reported that William had added: “It’s the reason I’m so skinny.”

Here’s what Kate eats for each of her meals.

What Kate eats for breakfast

Kate avoids eating solids in the morning, instead opting for a filling smoothie.

Her favourite smoothie is packed with antioxidants, fibre, and vitamins, and these are all crucial parts of a healthy diet.

The smoothie is made of kale, spinach, romaine, spirulina, blueberries, coriander, and matcha.

You can’t get much healthier than this! A smoothie in the morning will also make you less bloated.

If Kate feels like eating something more substantial, she’ll have some porridge.

Porridge oats are great for weight loss and have a number of other health benefits from improving blood sugar to regulating your appetite.

What Kate eats for dinner

Kate’s dinners are typical British meals, and she enjoys a range of dishes from pasta to a roast.

Roast chicken is a favourite in the Cambridge household, especially with Prince William, reports say.

Matthew Kleiner-Mann headteacher of Lavender Primary School said Kate told the staff about the family’s food habits during a visit.

He said: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.

“They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”

What Kate eats for snacks

Snacking isn’t the best way to achieve a calorie deficit and lose weight, but if you are hungry then you should eat something healthy to keep you going.

Kate is fond of raw fruit and vegetables whenever she gets peckish, in particular she loves goji berries.

This red berry is low in calories and is often promoted as a superfood.

They’re great for the immune system, an excellent source of antioxidants, and are said to have anti-aging properties.
