Hi friends and happy Friday!
If you didn’t hear, I’m taking the The Friday 5 over to Instagram Live! So you can now watch the Friday 5 (often with visuals!) live every week. But, I’ll continue posting it here as well. Anyway, as always, I’m sharing 5 things that I’m loving lately. You watch the video below or read the post – whatever you prefer!
Enjoy your Fall weekend!
I get compliments on this fleece pullover all of the time, and I’ve had it for years. It washes really well, and it’s super cozy. I’ve bought one for my mom, my sister, my aunt, everybody I know has it! It comes in all different colors, is quilted on the top with cute asymmetrical buttons, and the best part is it’s really affordable (especially for how much I wear it) – just $30 on Amazon! I wear it on walks, around the house – it’s definitely a staple in my Fall wardrobe.
We’re a big fan of these reusable Stasher Bags. Quinn is obsessed with apples lately, so we just cut up some apples and throw them in a Stasher bag for easy snacking. You can put them in the dishwasher, store food in them in the freezer, and they come in all different sizes. I don’t know why I didn’t purchase these earlier. Not only do they help reduce single plastic use (everything little thing helps), but they are super convent. We use them constantly for lunches and leftovers. (I’m thinking these would make a great stocking stuffer for the holidays!)
RXBars, you either love ’em or hate ’em. I really love them! The ingredients are super simple and they have a decent amount of protein from egg whites. Their limited-edition pumpkin flavor is one of my absolute favorites. I’ve been cutting the bars up in quarters and storing in a Stasher Bag. When I want a little bit of something sweet after a meal, I can easily grab a small slice – it’s the perfect amount and totally curbs a craving.
I am very particular about my workout clothes, so I definitely had to highlight this one – the Brooks Stealth Tank. I don’t like having a lot of stuff on me when I workout, because I get really, really sweaty, but at the same time, I don’t want anything super skin tight. I’m also really self-conscious of my scoliosis on my back, so I don’t like clothings hugging that area. This top is the best of both worlds: it’s kind of fit, but it’s not crazy tight. I also like that it has a higher neckline. The tank is soft, sweat-wicking and comes in blue, white, red, and more. I highly recommend!
One of the coaches from OPEX told me about this piece of fitness equipment. I know how hard it is to find workout equipment right now, so when the coach told me about this, I was all about it. These are furniture pads that you can get from Amazon – a set of four is only $10! I recently shared a video of me doing hand walks, and I was using these for that exercise. We bought two sets – Quinn is having fun with them, too. We’ve been messing around with them, doing different exercises – for the affordable price, it’s definitely worth adding to your home workout setup.
