Samsung’s first shot at a voice assistant was S Voice, an extremely mediocre product that debuted with the Galaxy S3. It was later preinstalled on most Samsung gadgets produced from 2012 to 2017, and was lastly changed by the marginally-better Bixby assistant beginning with the Galaxy S8. S Voice has remained purposeful all this time, however that will not be true for for much longer.
Samsung advised SamMobile that the S Voice digital assistant shall be discontinued on June 1st, 2020. After that time, all queries shall be answered with “I am unable to course of your request.”

It is unlikely that anybody will miss S Voice, since many of the gadgets it was put in on will nonetheless be capable of use Google Assistant (or a minimum of the older Google Search). Nonetheless, a few of Samsung’s older wearables that have been by no means up to date to make use of Bixby shall be caught with no voice assistant. Sorry, Galaxy Gear homeowners.
