Weight loss diet plan: Apple cider vinegar can burn fat – expert shares important tip


Some studies have shown the drink can help tone up the waistline.

A study published on US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health gave 144 obese adults the drink every day.

Those who had one tablespoon dropped 2.6 pounds in 12 weeks and noticed their midriff slim by 0.75 inches.

Others were given two tablespoons a day and lost an average of 3.7 pounds.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, nutritionist Lisa Borg claimed it can be beneficial for weight loss.

She said: “Apple cider vinegar can help a weight loss regime due to its diuretic actions that assist the elimination of excess fluids.

“It’s cleansing effects on the liver can improve the metabolism and thereby encourage the breakdown of excess fat.

“Weight loss is extremely difficult where nutrient deficiencies are present.

The expert suggested it is best to drink apple cider vinegar while eating.

She explained it can be mixed with water and drank alongside a meal.

Lisa added: “I recommend taking one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed into a full glass of water.

“You should sip this mixture throughout the first half of your meal.”
